Alumapalooza is a five-day annual event held at the Airstream factory in Jackson Center. Each year Alumapalooza is different, but generally includes camping, seminars, entertainment, door prizes, gifts, factory tours, a group meal or two, and unlimited socializing.

The 2016 Tiger Trot 5K Run/Walk will be located at the Jackson Center High School with a $20.00 registration fee. The race will begin at 9:00 a.m.

The Sidney Farmer’s Market links farmers, growers, and producers with consumers, putting fresh, wholesome, regionally sourced foods in the hands of those who most need and desire them. The Farmer’s Market will be open every Saturday from 8:00 a.m. until noon. June 4th, 11th, 18th, and 25th.

To promote creative imagination, the Gateway Arts Council proudly presents another year of its LEGO Design Challenge and Exhibit. Kids of all ages have been able to participate and given the opportunity to create their own masterpieces. These creations can feature little people, medieval castles, skyscrapers, and many other designs both big and small made of LEGO bricks. The exhibit will be free to the public and on display at the Gateway Arts Council Gallery, June 18th from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Regular hours are Monday through Friday, 10:00am to 4:00pm. Evenings and weekends are by appointment.

The gentle rolling hills of Graceland Cemetery are now home to many of the men and women who struggled and toiled to build Sidney’s strong foundation which we still enjoy today. This tour is a free event and open to the public.
