The Sidney Civic Band hosts a local favorite, the Swing Era Big Band, who will perform a free concert on the Court Square. The Swing Era Band will perform a variety of big band music including songs from noted bands such as Artie Shaw, Woody Herman and Glenn Miller. Joining the band will be the vocal group Simple Harmony: Mary Knapke, Sherri Heideman and Tod Huston. In the event of rain, Friday concerts will be at Connection Point Church of God (formerly known as the First Church of God), 1510 Campbell Road in Sidney.
