Just in time for Christmas! Join us for Canadian Brass who enjoy an international reputation as one of the most popular brass ensembles today. Canadian Brass has truly earned the distinction of “THE WORLD’S MOST FAMOUS BRASS GROUP”. Each of their concerts will show the full range from trademark Baroque and Dixieland tunes to new compositions and arrangements created especially for them – from formal classical presentations to music served up with lively dialogue and theatrical effects. Register a team or come out for the fun. The Salvation Army is hosting a Dive, Dip and Dodge tournament for a good cause. Ages 15 and up will participate in a double elimination tournament. Trophies and Shirts to the victors. $25 per player and 6 to 10 players per team. Live music by DJ TOFKAPE. Food and drink on hand too.

David Osmond, a vocal sensation in the mold of his famous uncle Donnie Osmond, and award–winning bandleader Caleb Chapman, saxophonist in the Neon Trees touring band, have joined forces with some of the hottest musicians in the country to form a fabulous Big Band that delivers electrifying performances.

This amazing duo delivers a fabulous show filled with everyone’s favorite holiday, swing tunes, current pop hits, and crooner classics. This remarkable live band is taking the nation by storm, performing to ecstatic audiences everywhere creating an exciting blend of pop, swing, Broadway, blues, American Standards, and rockabilly. Join us for the 5th annual Ladies Tea hosted by the Shelby County Historical Society. The theme of this year’s tea is “Cast Away to the 1950’s”. You’ll enjoy an old fashioned Tea with sandwiches, desserts, and goodies of all kinds! Julie Gilardi will portray Annalee Crusey Kerns, a famous trick casting exhibitionist. Ladies are welcome to wear their 1950’s fashions and be sure to bring your camera for a photo in the Pink Cadillac.

Tickets are $20 for members of the Shelby County Historical Society; $22 for non members and may be purchased at the Ross Historical Center until July 7th. Seating is limited so get your tickets early.

In celebration of the 50th Anniversary of The Allman Brothers Band, a former member of that legendary band, David Goldflies (78-82) has joined forces with Mike Kach (from Dickey Betts Great Southern) to launch “A Brother’s Revival,” honoring David’s former band. During the past few months they have energized audiences up and down the East coast with the most accurate presentation of the music (note for note) just as they were performed when David was touring with Greg, Dickey, Butch and Jaimoe. (from the dual drummers to the timpani to the Hammond B-3, no detail was left out).

If you love the music of The Allman Brothers Band, you will be amazed how A Brother’s Revival has recreated the energy, vibe and passion of performing this iconic music.

Tickets are $35 when you buy online. Tickets purchased in person, over the phone, or at the door will be $40.
