The scenic Great Miami River offers adventurous canoeing, kayaking, and fishing experiences galore. Designated by the United States Department of Interior as a National Water Trail, this distinction has been given to only 21 other trails in the country. Sidney river access points include Johnson Park – River mile 128.5; Berger Park – River mile 126.9: Roadside Park – River mile 126.4: Canal Feeder Trail – River mile 125.5; and Canal Feeder Trail – River mile 122.1.
