The 250th Anniversary of our nation will be celebrated July 4th and although the committee anticipates patriotic statements for the quilts, that is not a required theme. Each
quilter is telling their own story through their quilt, so as you design and assemble, tell us who you are through your design, your colors, techniques, and your art. Each quilt will be
identified as part of this show with a commemorative printed patch to be sewn to the back of your quilt which will be supplied to you by the Shelby County Historical Society.
This will not be a judged show, it is a memorial show in memory of Jane Kemp of Sidney. Attendees will have the opportunity to choose their favorite quilt and vote for the People’s Choice Award.
