David D. Adams will help us understand “What Headstones Reveal.” Adams will describe how American attitudes about death have changed through the last several centuries. The symbols and images of death that appear on grave markers reflect these changing public attitudes from the 18th century to present day. The meeting will begin at 7:00 p.m. and is free and open to the public.
