Metallica returns to the stage for the first time since September 2019 with an all new, exclusive concert. This is a SAFE, FUN and SOCIALLY DISTANT way to enjoy live music during the pandemic.

Metallica is the first rock band to be featured in the Encore Drive-In Nights series of concerts filmed exclusively for drive-in theaters. The band will play a full set of classics, plus some surprises. This concert will go down as one of the most unique and memorable Metallica experiences of all time.

Every ticket purchase admits one carload of up to six people and will include four digital downloads of Metallica’s S&M2, the long awaited album documenting the two historic concerts that reunited the band and San Francisco Symphony for the first time in 20 years.

Massive hits like” White Rabbit”, “Somebody to Love”,” Volunteers”, and “We Built This City” continue to reverberate in pop culture today.

When country music lovers talk about the greatest groups in the genre, Shenandoah is always at the forefront of any discussion. Fueled by Marty Raybon’s distinctive vocals and the band’s skilled musicianship, Shenandoah became well known for delivering such hits as “Two Dozen Roses”, “Church on Cumberland Road” and “Next to You, Next to Me” as well as such achingly beautiful classics as “I Want to be Loved Like That” and the Grammy winning “Somewhere in the Vicinity of the Heart” duet with Alison Krauss. Today that legacy continues as original members Raybon and Mike McGuire reunite to launch a new chapter in Shenandoah’s storied career. It all began when the guys got back together to perform a benefit concert for a friend battling cancer. “We saw how folks reacted,” Raybon says of the response to their reunion. “And then Jerry Phillips, son of legendary Sun Records producer Sam Phillips, said ‘You guys need to make a run at this. People still love what you do. You can tell by the reaction. There’s a lot of excitement in the air

For over 25 years Jay White has performed all over the world, while reflecting the stage persona of this Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Legend. Validation came from a Las Vegas Riviera Showroom headliner, sparking national interest and recognition. In 2008 Jay was cast by Director Ron Howard to play Neil Diamond in the Academy Award Nominated film “Frost/Nixon”, and in 2012, was cast as the lead in a musical drama entitled “Beautiful Noise”. Jay has appeared on the “Tonight Show” with Legends in Concert, while Leeza Gibbons of “Entertainment Tonight” wrote: “Jay is uncanny and truly amazing!” White is also honored to have performed for First Lady Nancy Reagan, was a celebrity presenter at the world televised Miss Universe Pageant, received a 2003 “Outstanding Performance Award”, all while rubbing elbows with Hollywood celebrities like Kevin Bacon, William Shatner, and James Spader.

Enjoy a fantastic Catfishing Derby from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at beach parking lot on State Route 362.  This event is free and open to kids 17  and under.

Join us for the Grand Illumination of the Holiday Lights in downtown Sidney! Come early and stay late to dine and visit our local shops!

Downtown storefront windows will be decorated for the season and Santa is sure to be in attendance as well.

Spectators are asked to gather on the north side of the court house to enjoy The Reason For The Season program at 6:00 p.m. and at 6:25 we’ll flip the switch and watch together as downtown Sidney becomes merry & bright for the holidays.
