The Sidney Dance Company presents, Alice in Wonderland, an 1865 English children’s novel by Lewis Carroll. This timeless classic details the story of a girl named Alice who falls through a rabbit hole into a fantasy world of anthropomorphic creatures..

The hauntingly beautiful musical, Dogfight, by Pasek and Paul (Edges, James and the Giant Peach, A Christmas Story) and Peter Duchan, was praised by countless critics and nominated for numerous awards, winning the Lucille Lortel Award for Best Musical. Based on the 1991 Warner Brothers film, Dogfight takes audiences on a romantic and heartbreaking theatrical journey that stays with you long after the performance. Christian Academy Schools presents, Murder’s in the Heir, akin to Clue, every character in this hilarious mystery has the weapon, opportunity, and motive to commit the unseen murder — and it’s up to the audience to decide who actually did it. Yes, you read that right: This is an audience interactive murder mystery!

Christian Academy Schools presents Winne-The-Pooh, a faithful adaptation of A. A. Milne’s first book of Pooh stories: Winnie-the-Pooh. Welcome to Christopher Robin’s “100 Aker Wood,” home to all of your favorite childhood friends: Piglet, Rabbit, Eeyore, Owl, Kanga, Roo and of course that “honey” loving bear, Pooh. Bees, balloons, Heffalumps and donkey-tails take the stage, and everyone celebrates in the end at a woodsy party. Happy Birthday to all of us, and three cheers for the wonderful Winnie-the-Pooh!

Lehman Catholic High School presents Lucky Stiff, based on the novel, The Man Who Broke the Bank at Monte Carlo by Michael Butterworth, Lucky Stiff is an offbeat, hilarious murder mystery farce, complete with mistaken identities, six million bucks in diamonds and a corpse in a wheelchair. The story revolves around an unassuming English shoe salesman who is forced to take the embalmed body of his recently murdered uncle on a vacation to Monte Carlo. Should he succeed in passing his uncle off as alive, Harry Witherspoon stands to inherit $6,000,000. If not, the money goes to the Universal Dog Home of Brooklyn… or else his uncle’s gun-toting ex!

Lights up, Sound down. Come join this family friendly show with lots of sing and dance along fun. Dog Man, rated PG is part dog, part man, and all hero. Doors open at 1:30 p.m. with free popcorn and water to the first 300 patrons. The show is sponsored by Wilson Health and Shelby County Board of Developmental Disabilities and admission is FREE.
